This combination
Restaurant/Motor Lodge was up and running in 1955. Both the Motor
Lodge and Restaurant were based on designs by the Florida architect,
Rufus Nims.

By the time of Phil's
visit, the location had become a Mexican restaurant called La
Fonda. Note that the part of the sign that proclaims "RESTAURANT"
is original HoJo's circa late 1960s!
