Branded a Howard Johnson
into the late 1990s, the Lodge's rooms still featured furnishings
from a mid 1980s remodel! Much of the furniture still in Phil's
guest room came from Landmark Supply. |

These pictures
all come from Phil's second visit to the Tucson Motor Lodge.
On his first overnight stay, his room had its Pamper Panel, but
his second visit's room instead had a makeshift cover over where
the Pamper Panel had once been. The grass cloth wall covering
also dates from the mid 1980s remodel. |
