The Restaurant
was a JB's not long before Phil Edwards arrived on the scene.
However upon his visit it had become the unbranded Country Folks
Restaurant. It was the building type that only is known to have
existed at a handful of locations. It featured a Tower with Simple
Simon and the Pieman weather vane at the center of its roof peak. |

Only recently converted
into a Quality Inn, and having lost its JB's, time to see the
old complex in near HoJo-like condition is running short. No
doubt its somewhat worn circa 1980s rooms will see a makeover
soon and how long will an independent restaurant survive at the
location. |
