Surviving for so many
years under careful ownership, the former Motor Lodge and Restaurant
were well utilized and remain useful today as a Seniors only
gated community.
By 2004 the site was
called the Sterling
Crest Apartments and RV park, and it featured a heated pool,
sauna, handicap apts., full service restaurant, activities, and
13 shaded pull-through RV spaces. Apparently the former Restaurant
is well used as a gathering place by the community as evidenced
by their website.
