Located across from St. Jude Medical Center, this Howard Johnson's opened in the early Summer of 1966 at the busy intersection of Harbor and Bastanchury. After its life as a HoJo's it was hidden behind the Mansard seen in these photographs and converted into a Coco's Bakery and Restaurant. Unfortunately it will soon have been demolished. By October of 2004 it had become vacant and fenced off. Its corner lot is a bit small, but it might be just large enough for a Walgreens, Rite Aid, or CVS. |
