Prominently
located at S.R. 99's interchange with Yosemite Parkway in the
area's "motel row," the Merced Restaurant was opened
in 1970. Only lasting about eight years as a Howard Johnson's,
it had ceased to be listed in directories by the end of 1978.
In middle 2000s it was operating as a Carrow's Above: Merced Cal ... These employees opened our new restaurant in the San Joaquin Valley. |
