Stockton, California --I-5 & Hwy 4

Never featuring Orange porcelain enamel roof tiles, Stockton was opened in 1974 and employed a "stand-up" orange colored metal mansard facade. Short-lived, the Restaurant only made as a Howard Johnson's about four years, for by the end of 1978 it had been closed.

Stockton's building was similar to the unit in Antioch (also opened in 1974 and was even short-lived), and most likely had HJ stone on the front of the building.
