Listed in a mid 1970s
Howard Johnson's directory, Orillia was briefly a HoJo's according
to Blair D. who reported that it was not a traditional HJ design.
Even if it wasn't a classic design, it occupied a typical highway
location that was typical of Howard Johnson's. It is believed
that the site is now occupied by the Orillia Highwayman Inn and
Conference Center (2005). |
