"Gulistan
makes our welcome warmer!
And in the long run ... Gulistan costs less than hard-floor coverings."
says Lee Craft, Manager Howard Johnson Motor Lodge, Milford, Connecticut. |

In
keeping with its assortment of buildings, Milford's, guest
rooms were not quite standard. Nevertheless, they did offer
some familiar Howard Johnson's features. While the room
layouts were not standard, many had double vanities and
built in open storage. Later the rooms were outfitted with
standard fixtures and furnishings from Howard Johnson's
Landmark Supply Division to help them better meet the expectation
level of HoJo's guests. |

Bob
Venditti's earlier visit to Milford revealed guest rooms that
seemed HoJo-like from the late 1980s, but Phil Edwards room
decor appeared less original with its white headboards and
furniture. |

Note that the room did not have a Pamper Panel, but instead
offered only switches for the lights above the beds. |
