Bob recalled that the Restaurant had been converted into a fish themed eatery in its last life.

He added that "the original restaurant entrance was blocked off...new entrance made on the parking lot side," and the "signature Orange roof tiles replaced with terra cotta barrel tiles more in keeping with the ultra-strict Coral Gables design codes."

Since the venerable HoJo's site was purchased by Taha Properties, it has been gradually demolished, bit-by-bit--first the Restaurant then various sections of the Motor Lodge.
