Caption: Here at Howard Johnson's "Treasure Island" Motor Lodge, the "small fry" are given special attention, for they have their own playground to while away happy hours in the sun...then perhaps join their parents for a refreshing swim in the big, heated pool. there's shuffleboard, too, and your certain to hear screams of delight if they catch a "big one" from our private fishing pier.

Above: The broken Lamplighter weathervane was likely once on Treasure Island's Gate Lodge. By the 2000s it had been mounted on the roof of Rex B. Husky's nearby carwash. Husky once managed both Treasure Island and St. Pete Beach Motor Lodges.
