These panoramic vistas
show that while the place was still a Howard Johnson's it must
have enjoyed a brief revival when the more modern two-story guest
building was added in the front of the property--likely in the
late 1960s or very early 1970s. |

The Texaco station
seen above in the right of the photo is on the site of where
the Restaurant had once been. By 2003 no trace of the Howard
Johnson's remained. Furthermore the area has been completely
redeveloped and little of anything there remains from the Golden
Era of the American Roadside. |
