Opened in late 1969 or
early 1970, great pains have been taken by the property's owners
to box in the Gate Lodge in some ridiculous attempt to mask
its true identity!
I suppose in an effort
to increase income owners of the location allowed placement of
the gigantic billboard on the front lawn of the restaurant which
must create a peculiar vista for those dining within.
