Forsyth, Georgia --I-75 @ SR 83 (320 Cabaniss Rd.)

Wedged into an awkwardly shaped parcel, the Forsyth Howard Johnson's complex was opened by the early 1970s. However by the late 1980s, the Motor Lodge operated as a Red Carpet Inn. And then in one of the worst A-frame Gate Lodge remodels ever recorded, the site became the Forsyth Econo Lodge.

The site's Restaurant came to operate as a Mexican themed eatery known as El Tejado which is a reference to the former HoJo's tile roof!
