Taking advantage of the
local topography this location had high visibility from both
I-475 and US 80. Well, I suppose you have to give the owners
of the former Motor Lodge some credit for attempting to keep
their location viable, but just since last June when Bob snapped
the photo at the bottom, the guest room buildings have lost the
original exterior colors. While the green they picked is not
as bad as some greens I've encountered, the HoJo's blue was better!
There must be a lot of
crime in the area too, for security cameras were posted at frequent
intervals throughout the property, and several businesses in
the vicinity including a McDonalds have been closed.
