 Hapeville (Forest Park), Georgia

When first spotted by fellow Hojomaniac Phil Edwards this restaurant had already ceased being a HoJo's in the mid-1980s, and was simply called "Eats" sporting a red roof and cupola.

According to Phil Edwards this was likely an ideal location for a restaurant along I-75 near Atlanta when it opened in the late 1960s. However the exit it was near was removed as lanes were added to the Interstate rendering access to the restaurant almost impossible for highway travelers. And so by the 1980s it had been closed for lack of business.

I'm sure that its builders never imagined that it would become the home of a van rental agency.
