Operating
adjacent to the Motel
Jesup
which was owned by the Grecos who also owned and operated the
Folkston HoJo's, the
site was located on what was once a primary north-south route
for motorists in the eastern United States.
The
Jesup Howard Johnson's Restaurant operated from the early 1950s
unitl the middle 1970s. The building itself was razed by the 2000s
and a liquor store came to operate where it had once been.
