Built in the heart of
Galesburg, this modern high-rise HoJo's would have had ready-made
patrons accustomed to receiving hospitality services at the site.
The Motor Lodge lives on today as a Cendant branded Ramada, but
with the rampant rebranding that goes on today who knows what
it will be called tomorrow! The flat roofed structure seen above
with the large windows is the indoor pool area, and below is
a corner of the Restaurant building with its Mansard. |
