Jacksonville,
Illinois
1904 West Morton |
Opened at about
the same time as the Kirkwood, Missouri (demolished) location,
Jacksonville shared a similar floor plan. However it remained
less altered over the years. Additionally it featured a 'lower'
profile cupola than Kirkwood and it did not have a clock in its
base. |

While Phil was
documenting the Restaurant, he saw a brown smudge on the front
of the building that he thought was grime. However he quickly
realized that it was not grime at all, but the "shadow"
of Simple Simon and the Pieman! |
