When it opened in 1960,
Belleville was the first Detroit area Motor Lodge/Restaurant
complex. By 2004 the land hungry traditional Motor Lodge had
been long demolished and replaced with a more compact Comfort
Inn. Incidentally the Comfort Inn uses the old HoJo's address.
