The
Restaurant ceased being a HoJo's and then was likely converted
into another eatery, was vacant for a time, then became the Thai
House Restaurant in 1992. Its owners, Prawat and Buranee Bunniran,
had operated a Chinese eatery in the local shopping mall before
its food court went bust. |

Note
the many original fixtures and features still in use as recently
as the early 2000s.
Highlights
included the lantern lights, cathedral ceiling, copper-look
hood, and framed/mirrored back bar! |

The
Motor Lodge ceased being a Howard Johnson during 1992 (about
the same time that the Thai House was opened in the former
HJ Restaurant).

| At
some point it became Cendant's lower end brand, Super 8. During
2004 it lost its brand status altogether and became known as
the Super Inn. |
