Above: Utilizing many artifacts from Kirkwood, and drawing upon his recollections, Mark Ihrie has created his own personal tribute to the "Host of the Highways!"

Below & Lower: With much time and effort Mark plans to have Krikwood's circa 1955 cupola completely restored to its original appearance.
 
 
While there was no happy ending for the Kirkwood Howard Johnson's Restaurant, HoJo's enthusiast Mark Ihrie was able to rescue many of its reminders and graciously allowed these images to be shared.
