By 2004 this former Motor
Lodge had become one of Cendant's Ramada Inns. Unfortunately
the once highly touted upscale Restaurant appears to have been
demolished and the Motor Lodge looks like a stucco palace.
The Newark Airport location
was opened in the Summer of 1970 during a time when the Howard
Johnson Company was rapidly building "better" properties
near airports. Newark's complex also featured a relatively late
Nims-type Restaurant.
