Constructed alongside
and behind a preexisting Colonial-type Restaurant, Springfield's
Motor Lodge was the first to open in New Jersey way back in 1956.
In its last life it was
called the Spring Garden Inn. Unfortunately I have no current
information as to its status, but suspect that none of it remains
extant.
