Opened in the Winter
of 1964, when Walt spied the Motor Lodge it had been converted
into a Best Value Inn. By 2002 the Motor Lodge was under renovation
and had been closed--it had been rendered largely unrecognizable.
The Restaurant on the other hand could still be easily spotted
for what it was! |

Surprisingly the
small Motor Lodge had been branded a Howard Johnson again by
Mr. Dougherty's visit in 2005. |
