Clifton Park,
New York
Plank Rd. & Old
Rt 146 @ I-87 |
Opened in 1977, Clifton
Park was a late stand-alone Restaurant. It was a non-standard
Mansard, and it was built adjacent to a motel insuring that it
would have patrons. Mr. Russo noted that employees at the adjacent
Best Western recalled the Restaurant as a Howard Johnson's, and
one gentleman even remembered that it was converted in either
1985 or 1986. |

Built around the
time that many Restaurants lost their Dairy Bars, it is not known
if Clifton Park had one or not. However if it did have one, it
likely would have been placed on the side of the building shown
below where the windows are located. |
