Opened in 1942,
Poughkeepsie's original Restaurant celebrated its 10th anniversary
on Monday, February 11, 1952 with 1942 prices. Apparently the
promotion was a success, for it "jammed the store with customers."
Several other Restaurants held similar promotional events that
also treated customers to roll-back menu prices. |
