Gastonia
, North Carolina --
1700 N Chester Street |
|
The
71 unit Gastonia Motor Lodge and Restaurant opened in the spring
of 1966. The location was immediately adjacent to I-85, and offered
easy access. Although by 2001 it had been converted into a Days
Inn
and the Gate Lodge had been boxed in, the property retained much
of its original Howard Johnson's functionality and curb appeal. |
