Although there was space,
no separate lobby was ever built. Instead the location has an
in the building lobby which includes a small area where Continental
breakfast is offered. There is also an interior passageway from
the lobby that leads into the Restaurant. |

It might have been
one of the last Howard Johnson's that was purpose built on such
a small scale and with only two story guest wings. The rooms
facing the swimming pool and parking lot are all doubles, while
the ones on the outer side are singles and feature less than
abbreviated balconies or patios. Furthermore the guest buildings
have a flat roof resulting in flat ceilings for the guest rooms
on the second floor. There were small but functional sliders
in every room! |
