When this complex
opened in late 1962 or early '63, it was proclaimed to be "Oklahoma
City's finest and newest Motor Lodge and Restaurant." It
once featured 137 guest rooms and suites, conference facilities,
a playground, and along with its Restaurant a service station.
Forty years later Scott
Sargent was able to snap several photographs and examine the
former Restaurant. Apparently long vacant, he reported that he
had heard that it had been for sale for years, and was still
for sale!
