Howard Johnson's directories, and highway realignments have hidden
the location's former site. By 2004 there was no evidence remaining
of the Johnston Restaurant. |

not far from the CVS drugstore chain's headquarters (destroyer of
many former HoJo's), it was not surprising to find no trace of this
"Canton-type" location. Trying to locate its
remains was just another of many wild goose chases! |
