A stand alone restaurant, this Charleston location opened in 1960 and lasted until about 1973. Unfortunately its street address was never provided in Howard Johnson's directories, and Phil's photos do not show a street number, nor do the images give us a clue about the restaurant's name other than that it had been operating as a "Chinese" eatery.

Nonetheless its exterior remained remarkably intact for well over forty years -- where ever it was located!
