Bennington, VT -- 413 US Route 7S

Opened in the early 1960s adjacent to Darling Kelly's Motel and Gift Shop, the Bennington HoJo's Restaurant was nestled in the beautiful Vermont countryside with the aim of capturing tourists and locals alike.

Following the demise of the Howard Johnson Company in 1985, the Restaurant was closed and came to house the Benningtom Club--complete with many of its original circa 1960s fixtures well into the 21st century. By the middle 2010s the site had been converted into One World Conservation Center.

Meanwhile Darling Kelly's Motel and gift Shop became affiliated with Superior Inns and eventually adopted the Americas Best Value Inn moniker before dropping those names and became the Starlight Inn.
