Note
the flood lights on the roofs of the guest buildings. Their
placement was an original feature and were designed to bring
attention to the Motor Lodge by illuminating the bright white
roofs of the guest buildings. Most of the original fixtures
were replaced with new units that were aimed to shine on the
parking areas.
Also
note that Kenosha's guest buildings had maintained their original
exterior appearance including railings, slider, balconies/patios,
and sliders--nothing had even been stuccoed!
