Modifications were made to the Restaurant during the 1970s with the addition of the bay window which expanded the main dining room, and created a fresher facade. Moreover, the location likely lost its Dairy Bar at the same time, for the company converted many of its higher volume Restaurants into sit-down dining only during the time period.

Jeff Lessila wrote that "when it was still a 24 hour HoJo's restaurant it was very much a favorite of the local Police Department people that worked overnight." He also noted that he and his family ate in the former Restaurant several times while it was the Grecian Inn, and that after the place was demolished the Greek eatery moved to a new location.
