Little
Rock's Alamo Plaza was one of Torrance's earlier ventures. Although
the image on the blotter and also on the postcard above were
"generic" views, the location did employ an Alamo
facade. Later, in the 1950s the motel was renovated with the
elimination of the facade and a new sign similar to those used
at the St. Francis
branch of Alamo Plazas in Alabama was erected. |
