Little Rock's Alamo Plaza was one of Torrance's earlier ventures. Although the image on the blotter and also on the postcard above were "generic" views, the location did employ an Alamo facade. Later, in the 1950s the motel was renovated with the elimination of the facade and a new sign similar to those used at the St. Francis branch of Alamo Plazas in Alabama was erected.
