When
built, the Anaheim complex included a traditional Nims-type HoJo's
Restaurant at street level facing Harbor Boulevard. The restaurant
was converted into a Big Boy after 1985 and then later into a
Coco's. During the mid-to-late 1990s Interstate 5 was realigned
along with the Harbor Blvd. interchange. The reworked road network
rendered the Restaurant below street level and somewhat inaccessible.
By the 2000s it had been leveled and replaced by a parking area. |
