Another of Orangeroof Canada Ltd's nonstandard HoJo's, Edmunston opened in 1979. While it lacked the traditional Motor Lodge and Restaurant layout, the property featured fixtures and furnishings that were similar to what was being used in traditional Howard Johnson's of the era. Lasting as a HoJo's in to the 2000s, it was converted into the Chateau Edmunston.
