Mystic,
Connecticut --179
& 253 Greenmanville Ave @ I-95
AKA Mystic-Groton |
|
An
excellent location immediately along I-95, the Mystic Howard Johnson's
complex was officially opened in about 1969. Virtually unchanged
for nearly 25 years the Lodge remained a Howard Johnson's until
1995. During the middle 1990s, it lost its HJ moniker and became
a part of the Darien Hospitality Group (see also Darien
and East Lyme),
and was remodeled. Mystic rejoined the Howard Johnson chain in 2000.
