Although the pool and
courtyard area present a pleasant view, none of it is original.
As a Howard Johnson's, this property featured a huge olympic
size swimming pool (seen above in the postcard view) which was
removed and replaced with the pool and landscaping you see in
the two photographs below.

La Quinta has succeeded
in converting this Howard Johnson's without destroying all of
the many superior features and amenities introduced by HJ, allowing
this to be a nice place to stay! |
