Built
near the busy interchange with Interstate 10 along U.S. 29, Pensacola-North
opened in 1968. Its site was designed to capture motorists both
passing through along the Interstate and those who were interested
in visiting nearby Pensacola Beach. |
Having
been converted into a Denny's, the Restaurant retained several
of its familiar features--note the copper hood seen above. Unfortunately
employees forbade photography. At least I was able to get one
interior shot, for the poor old Restaurant only had a little more
than a year left to stand! |
