Perhaps an architectural anomaly, Perry's restaurant was nearly unique in exterior design. Only the location in Gatlinburg, TN might have looked similar. Nonetheless it was a standard HoJo's in every other way! After the Restaurant lost its famous Landmark status it was severely remodeled and became a Denny's, but after several years its fortunes faltered and was converted again -- into a Clock Family Restaurant. However time soon ran out for the Clock, and the former HJ remained vacant for a time until it became a local Italian eatery.
