save for the former Howard Johnson's Restaurant which lost its
Country Kitchen brand and had become independent. |

Although
its swimming pool appeared well maintained, the guest building
exteriors looked poor. Parking lot sides retained their original
balconies, but all the sliders had been replaced with hideous
little windows. |
