While its advertising emphasized the Motor Lodge's outdoor recreational amenities, many of the postcard views allowed potential patrons to see that the Lodge was conveniently located along I-10.

Below: It is unlikely that the Motor Lodge offered room service on the balcony overlooking the pool with the din of traffic speeding past on I-10!
