Westfield,

Only just converted into
an Econo Lodge and reopened after it had been the Westfield Motor
Lodge, the former HoJo's had undergone major renovations. Gone
were the sliders and Gate Lodge cupola by 2004. |

At the end of the guest
buildings, a "basement" level is featured that is presumably
used by housekeeping and for storage space, or perhaps a manager's
apartment. |

Even though conventional
doors and windows replaced the sliders, original balcony railing
was retained as well as some unpainted/unstuccoed brick, and
it is easy to imagine this as having been a Howard Johnson's
Motor Lodge. |
