Ridgefield
Park, New Jersey
100 Route 46 |
Featured in both an Architectural
Record book and the firm's periodical, Architectural Record,
Ridgefield Park was a Carl Koch & Associates design. No doubt,
Rufus Nims was behind the innovative room and property layout. After completion of the 1957 project,
Koch-Nims parted ways with Howard Johnson's. These two architects
along with designer John Woodard deserve most of the credit for
having devised the rooms that became standard for the Howard
Johnson Company until 1985. |
