End of Days ... Purchased for $1.7 million at the end of January 2007 by Maruti Hospitality Ltd., Cheektowaga was quickly shuttered and its contents auctioned off.

New owners, Pravin Patel, Satish R. Patel and Satish B. Patel, spent $2 million on renovations which included demolition of the signature A-frame Gate Lodge and replacing it with a garishly designed two-story addition to house a lobby and breakfast room.
