Closest
Howard Johnson's to the Falls!
The 72 room Niagara Falls Howard Johnson's Motor Lodge was opened
by Mrs. Wafer and the Flecks in the spring of 1965 as a compliment
to their Howard Johnson's Restaurant. The mid-rise was a 1960s
modern property, and featured such amenities as an indoor heated
swimming pool along with "beautifully decorated rooms".
As
of February 2019 the Motor Lodge was remarkably still listed as
a Howard
Johnson
but no longer had its own unique website.
In
addition to the Restaurant turned souvenir shop, the site also
features Rainbow
Air Heliport
which offers aerial helicopter views of Niagara Falls and the
area. |
