The Carlisle Restaurant was under HJ Corporate ownership at the end of its existence, and had been converted into the short-lived Deli Baker Ice Cream Maker concept just prior to the Howard Johnson Company's dissolution. By the early 2000s the Nims-type building had been largely disguised and was operating as an Eat'n Park.

During 2007 the former HoJo's Restaurant had been stripped of its Eat'n Park sign and was being converted into a "diner."
