A bad sign, one of the single story guest buildings appeared to not have been in use. Nonetheless it was still being maintained.


 
Above & Below: One serious remodeling sin was committed while Mr. Redcay owned the Motor Lodge when he gutted the bathrooms and "blocked up" the windows. The small transoms were an important feature in the original design since they allowed for ventilation. The Denver property has a centralized HVAC system and guests occasionally need outside air! Note that two rooms on the end of the unused building had apparently not been remodeled and retained their bathroom windows.
