While Sioux Falls was still a Howard Johnson's, its Mansard Lobby was altered. The roof over the drive-thru area received its own Orange Roof Mansard, matching it to the existing roofline.
 
 
 
 
 
With little competition in the area for many years, the Sioux Falls complex was an extremely successful HoJo's franchise--it lasted until 1998 when it was converted into the Oaks Hotel.
